About Gaggia

With humble beginnings as a cafe owner in Milan, Achille Gaggia’s ingenuity and passion for coffee inspired him to invent a new way to brew espresso without the use of steam. That vision led to the creation of the Lampo device which produced the characteristic crema which has since become the hallmark of quality espresso.

The Gaggia Anima is a slim super-automatic espresso and coffee machine. With six buttons and a chrome-plated Panarello wand, the Anima can make cappuccino and lattes. The Anima is your personal barista, remembering your personal taste with Programmable Brewing, and adjustable strength and temperature settings. A Bypass Doser allows you to brew pre-ground coffee, making it easy to make different drinks for guests. With the Anima, it’s all about making a hot and personal beverage

Simple Interface Six dedicated buttons and an LCD screen can help you brew and create a list of drinks, both basic and custom.	Hopper and Bypass Doser Brew with either whole bean or pre-ground coffee with the ceramic burr grinder and bypass doser.	Pannarello Steam Wand An intake hole siphons air directly into the milk, to create rich foam for specialty beverages.	Removable Brew Group The brew group can be removed from the machine for regular rinsing and maintenance.

Temperature Controls 3 different temperature settings of 177.5°, 182.9°, or a maximum of 184.5° to make your drink just right.	Accessible Water Reservoir, Bean Hopper Both the 60 oz water reservoir and 8.8oz bean hopper can be easily accessed from the top left and top right of the machine.	Gaggia Adapting System The Brera’s Adapting System lets it learn from your coffee, adjusting how the grinder operates to accommodate your preferred bean	Low Energy Standby Mode The Anima will conserve energy and go into low energy (-1 W) standby mode after one hour of being idle.

  Customize your drink with Gaggia Besana

  Thanks to a simple and intuitive interface, Gaggia Besana allows you to customize and program the length of your espresso and coffee simply by holding down the corresponding button for a few seconds. Gaggia Besana also allows you to choose between 5 degrees of grinding to personalize your espresso, from the finest for a stronger taste to the coarser one for a lighter coffee.

  A compact and maintenance-friendly design

  Gaggia Besana has a compact design that does not take up space in the kitchen. All components are directly accessible to guarantee maximum practicality for filling water and beans and emptying the bottoms and the drip tray. The removable brew group is easily removable to allow deep cleaning.

  To ensure longer product life and better results in the cup, the coffee machine performs an automatic rinse cycle each time it is turned on and off. Gaggia Besana notifies when it is time to proceed with the decalcification.
