ordered and received Panasonic KX-3712 Digital cordless phone yesterday after reading all the previous customer reviews and answered questions. I am summarising my experience and observations here so that you may find as much information as possible in a single review about this phone:
1. It came with Indian power plug not Middle East or Europian
2. It only has English characters on the keypads not Arabic or any other language
3. It came with two handsets and both are very easy to setup. Took me 5 minutes to make it work
4. It is a single phone line phone (Single RJ11 Jack)
5. It took around 7 hours for first full charge and has around 5 hours of standby time
6. It does not come with answering machine for that, you need to order TG 3821/3822
7. Sound quality is awesome & very clear
8. I am using it in 2500 sqft single floor flat and it works without any issues
9. Phonebook entries done on one handset may be transferred one by one to another handset (dont be scared even one by one entry transfer does not take much time)
10. It has a handset locator so if you kept the handset somewhere and not able to find it, use “Locastor” button on base unit and your handset will ring.
11. It works during power failure, you only have to answer the phone from 2nd handset and not the one that is connected to telephone line (Primary unit)
12. Speaker is powerful
13. It does not take much space
14. It works as Intercom between two handsets
